Mutton Xacuti
Ingredients
1 and 1/2 Kg Mutton, Cut into small pieces
Xacuti Masala same amount as in the recipe mentioned
Salt as per requirement
4 Strands Curry Leaves, Curry Leaves separated from the strand
3 Medium Sized Onions, Chopped
3 Medium Sized Tomatoes, Chopped
2 Medium Sized Green Chilies, Slit and seeds removed
4 - 5 Tbsps Oil
For Marination
2 Tbsps Curd
1 Lime Juice
1 Tsp Turmeric Powder
1 Tsp Red Chilli Powder
1 Tsp Coriander Powder
1 Tsp Cumin Powder
2 Tbsps Ginger Garlic Paste
1 Tbsp Salt

15 Persons / 1 Hour
Preparation
1. Marinate the mutton using the above ingredients mentined for marination. Marinate for about an hour.
2. Now take a large vessel, add 4 - 5 tablespoons of oil, once hot add the curry leaves, onions, and chilies, once onions are translucent, add the tomatoes. Cook till tomatoes are soft and mushy.
3. Add in the xacuti masala. Cook till the oil oozes out from the masala. Cook the masala well on medium flame.
4. Once the masala has been cooked, add the mutton pieces. Stir-fry well so that the mutton blends well with the xacuti masala. Now add salt as per your taste. Don't add water when cooking the muuton as the mutton oozes out some amount of water. If the water is less then you may add as per your need.
5. Cook until mutton is soft. Serve hot.
