Goan Coconut Curry Masala


Ingredients

1/2 Cup Coconut, Grated
8 Dried Kashmiri Red Chillies
1 Tbsp Coriander Seeds
1/2 Tbsp Turmeric Powder
6 Peppercorns
1 Tsp Jeera or Cumin Seeds
20 Cloves Garlic, medium size
Small Piece Ginger
Small ball of Tamarind
1 Onion, Chopped
1/4 Cup Water or more 
Salt to taste

Servings / Time

A Medium Bowl / 20 minutes

Preparation

1. Add all the above ingredients to a mixer to form a nice thick Curry paste. 

2. Once ready let cool, store in a refrigerator and use as required to prepare fish curry or plain Goan curry. 

3. Mostly served with Rice, fish and vegetables.
