Potato and Tapioca Pearls Cutlet
Ingredients

1 Medium Sized Onion, Finely Chopped
3 Medium Sized Potatoes, Boiled and Mashed
1 Cup Sabudana/Sago/Tapioca Pearls, Soaked in water covererd for 6 hours
1/2 Tsp Cumin Powder
1/2 Tsp Pepper Powder
1/2 Tsp Red Chili Powder
1/2 Tsp Turmeric Powder
1/2 Tsp Coriander Powder
1/2 Tsp Ginger Garlic Paste
Coconut Oil as per requirement
Salt as per requirement

Servings / Time

10 Cutlets / 1 Hour

Preparation

1. Add 2 tablespoons of oil in a non stick vessel, heat the oil, once the oil is hot enough, add the finely chopped onions along with ginger garlic paste, once the onions turn transluscent, turn off the flame. Allow this mixture to cool.

2. Now in a bowl, add the mashed potatoes along with the sabudana and the above mixture of onions, see that you drain off the water that the sabudana was soaked in. Also add some salt and all the above mentioned powders. Mix well.

3. Take a handful of the mashed potato mixture and make nice round balls. Flatten the balls and place them onto a plate. These cutlets are now to be fried.

4. Heat some oil in a pan. Once the oil is hot, add these cutlets. Fry on both the sides until golden brown.

5. Serve hot with some ketchup or some chutney.
