Meat Loaf

Ingredients

200 gms Minced Beef
2 Tbsps Vinegar or Lime Juice
1/2 Tsp Turmeric Powder
1/2 Tsp Pepper Powder
1/2 Tsp Coriander Powder
1 Tbsp Ginger Garlic Paste
4 Tbsp Finely Chopped Coriander Leaves
2 Medium Sized Onion, Chopped
1 Small Green Chili, Deseeded and Finely Chopped
1 Potatoes, boiled and mashed
1 Cup of Bread Crumbs
1 Egg
Oil as per requirement
Salt as per requirement


Servings / Time

Medium Sized Loaf / 1 and 1/2 Hour

Preparation


1. Add the minced meat to a bowl , add salt, pepper powder, coriander powder, cumin powder, ginger garlic paste, coriander leaves and lime juice to the mince and keep aside for marination. As the minced meat marinates let us prepare the saute. Take a non stick pan, add oil to the pan around 2 tablespoons. Let the oil get heated, as the oil heats up chop the onion and chili fine. Now add the chopped onion and chili into the pan. Stir fry and cook until the onions have turned translucent. Once ready turn off the flame and let cool.

2. Now add the sauteed onions and chilies to the bowl of marinated mince along with bread crumbs, mashed potato and egg. Mix well. 

3. Now take a 8 x 3 inches Rectangular Cake Tin, add some butter paper, spread the mixture of the mince onto the butter paper into the tray, see that the mince batter is tightly pressed. Take a brush and smear some oil on top of the spread mince batter before adding it to the oven.
4. Preheat oven at 150 degrees centigrade, add the baking tray and bake at the same temperature for 30 - 45 minutes.

5. Once ready let cool, Cut slices and serve with mashed potatoes and sauce.
