Beef Chops
Ingredients
6 Medium Sized or Big Potatoes
1/2 Tbsp Butter
A Plate of Breadcrumbs or Semolina
Oil as required
Salt to taste

For the Filling
300 gms minced meat
1 Medium sized onion, finely chopped
1 Tbsp Lime juice
1/2 Tsp Turmeric Powder
1/2 Tsp Coriander Powder
1/2 Tsp Cumin Powder
1 Tsp Ginger Garlic Paste
Salt as required
Servings / Time
6 Beef Chops / 1 Hr
Preparation
1. Boil the Potatoes without taking off the skin. Once boiled allow to cool. Simultaneously marinate the minced meat with the above ingredients with the exception of Onion.
2. Peel off the skin and mash the potatoes.
3. Add butter and salt to the mashed potatoes and mix well to form a nice smooth paste.
4. Take some mashed potato in your hand and make a nice cup-shaped cover. (Many covers can be made at one time). For the filling, add oil to a pan, allow to get hot. Now add the onions, allow the onions to cook until translucent. Finally add the marinated minced meat, mix well and close the pan with a lid to let the beef cook. Cook until dry. Once ready allow to cool.
5. Add the filling minced meat filling into the cover.
6. Now add another cup-shaped cover of mashed potatoes to cover the filling.
7. You should now get a full potato chop with the beef filling inside.
8. Shape the chop well and flatten it, such that the mashed potatoes form nice smooth round edges.
9. Dip the chops into breadcrumbs or semolina on both sides.
10. Heat oil into a pan and add the chops.
11. Fry on both side till you get a nice brown color.
12. Serve hot with ketchup.
