Boiled Fish Cabbage Salad

Boiled Fish Cabbage Salad

Ingredients

3 Medium sized Fish
1/2 Piece of Cabbage, Finely Chopped
2 Medium sized onion, Finely Chopped
10 Garlic Cloves, Finely Chopped,
1 Large Potato, Chopped into cubes
1 Medium Sized Cucumber, Chopped into cubes
1 Large Chilli, Finely Chopped
1 Large Tomato, Finely Chopped
3 Tablespoons Olives, Chopped into ringlets
Olive Oil as required
Salt for taste
1/2 Tsp Turmeric Powder
1/2 Tsp Pepper Powder
1/2 Tsp Cumin Powder
Coriander Leaves, Finely Chopped

Servings / Time

1 Medium Sized Bowl Serves 5 / 1 Hour

Preparation

1. Clean the fish, take off the scales and the innards, add salt, turmeric, pepper and cumin powder to the fish and boil with water. Boil until the fish is soft. Simultaneously take a separate vessel, add the chopped garlic, chopped onions, chopped cabbage, chopped cucumbers and chopped potatoes, add water and boil until soft. Let this cool once ready.

2. Shred the fish, add to a bowl along with the other boiled vegetables.

3. Now add the olives, tomatoes, chili and coriander leaves along with salt and olive oil.

4. Mix well and serve. Add more olive oil and coriander leaves if desired to enhance the taste.
