Simple Onion Spiced Lamb
Ingredients
500 gms Lamb Pieces
Juice of 1 Lime
2 Tsps Salt
2 Tsps Ginger Garlic Paste
1 Tsp Turmeric Powder
1 Tsp Jeera / Cumin Powder
1 Tsp Coriander Powder
2 Large Onions, Chopped into ringlets
Oil as required

6 Servings / 30 Minutes Marination / 1 Hour Cooking Time
Preparation
1. Wash the lamb pieces well. Place the pieces into a bowl.
2. Now add salt, lime juice, turmeric powder, cumin powder, coriander powder and ginger garlic paste o the lamb pieces and mix well.
3. Keep aside the bowl of the lamb pieces for marination.
4. Now take a non stick pan. Add oil. Heat the oil.
5. Add onions to the oil. Once the onions turn translucent, add the lamb pieces. Stir fry for about a few minutes.
6. Now close the lid of the pan and allow to cook for an hour or until soft. Add very little amount of water if needed when cooking the meat.
7. Serve hot with rice or rotis.
