Almond Garlic Paste
Ingredients
1 Cup Almond Powder
1 Cup Water
8 Medium Sized Garlic Cloves, Minced
1 Small Onion, Finely Chopped
Juice From 1 Lime
Rind from 1 Lime
1/2 Tsp Pepper Powder
Salt as per taste
1 Tbsp Olive Oil
1 Cup Water

Servings / Time
A Medium Sized Jar of Paste / 30 Minutes
Preparation
1. Take a non stick pan, add olive oil and heat the oil, then add the minced garlic, chopped onion and saute until onions turn translucent.
2. Now add the almond powder, along with the lime rind and lime juice. Give a quick stir.
3. Now add a cup of water and mix well to form a nice thick paste, add more water if needed based on the consistency you desire.
4. Stir well and cook until the mixture bubbles.
5. Once the mixture has bubbled, turn off the flame. Allow the mixture to cool.
6. Once the mixture has cooled, add to a blender and blend to form a nice smooth paste. Add more water and salt to the blender if needed.
7. Once the paste is ready, add to a medium sized glass jar and consume as and when needed. The paste can be refrigerated.
8. The paste can be used as a substitute for mayonnaise as a vegan mayonnaise.
