Beef Pulao
Ingredients
1 Cup Rice
2 Cups Water
4 Cloves
2 Cinnamon Barks
20 Garlic Cloves
1/8th Piece Ginger
1 Tsp Turmeric
1 Bay Leaf
1 Medium Sized Onion
30 - 40 Small Pieces of Beef
2 - 3 Tbsps Oil
Juice of 1/2 Lime or 1 Tbsp Vinegar
Salt as required
2 Cups Water

1/8th Piece Ginger
1 Tsp Turmeric
1 Bay Leaf
1 Medium Sized Onion
30 - 40 Small Pieces of Beef
2 - 3 Tbsps Oil
Juice of 1/2 Lime or 1 Tbsp Vinegar
Salt as required
Servings / Time
2 Servings / 1 Hour
Preparation
1. Marinate the beef pieces with lime juice or vinegar, salt and keep aside.
2. Chop onions, garlic, ginger very fine. Take 1 cup of rice and wash the rice.
3. Now take a vessel, heat oil in the vessel, once the oil is hot, add the cinnamon barks, cloves and the bay leaf. Saute for a minute.
4. Now add the finely chopped ginger, garlic and onions. Saute until onions turn translucent and a nice aroma of garlic has been released.
5. Add pieces of beef and stir fry for a minute. Finally add the rice and stir fry for 2 - 3 minutes.
6. Add 2 cups of water and close the lid of the vessel, let the rice cook on a medium flame.
7. Once the water has dried the pulao should be ready. Add the required amount of salt and give a quick stir fry and turn off the flame.
8. Serve hot for lunch or dinner.
