Walnut Custard

A Quick recipe for custard using the readymade custard powder, milk, sugar and walnuts. If you are lazy and want to relish a quick dessert, the best dessert to make is the custard. It is very quick and simple. Just dissolve, boil, cool and freeze. There you go custard is ready :)

Walnut Custard

Ingredients

3 Tbsps Custard Powder
500 ml Milk
3 Tbsps Sugar and A Handful of Crushed Walnuts

Preparation

1. Dissolve the custard powder in a cup containing 150 ml of milk. Add the remaining 350 ml of milk to a vessel and allow to boil on medium flame.

2. Add sugar to the milk in the vessel along with the dissolved custard powder. Stir continuously such that the milk does not stick to the vessel on boiling. Stir for around 2 or 3 minutes until the mixture thickens.

3. Once the mixture has thickened pour into a glass bowl. Add a handful of crushed walnuts and mix well. Now allow the custard to cool.

4. Once the custard has cooled down, add it to the refrigerator. Freeze the custard for around 2 hours.

5. Serve chilled. Decorate by adding more of the crushed walnuts.
