Ingredients
500 gms Dark Chocolate Bar
1 Cup Raisins
1 Cup Walnut
1 Cup Raisins
1 Cup Walnut
Servings / Time
12 Pieces / 30 Minutes
Preparation
1. Keep the Chocolate bars, raisins and walnuts ready.
500 gms of chocolate bars and 1 cup each of raisins and walnuts.
2. Melt the chocolate bars using a double boiler method i.e place the chocolate in a vessel larger than the pan boiling the water. Add water to a pan such that the water should not touch the vessel above it. Boil the water and place the vessel with the chocolate bars above this boiling pan. Once the water boils, the steam from the pan below melts the chocolate in the vessel above it. Melt the chocolate completely such that there are no lumps.
3. Now allow the molten chocolate to cool a bit.
Add a cup of walnuts and raisins each. Mix thoroughly well. Keep aside for a few minutes so that the raisins and walnuts blend into the molten chocolate.
4. Now take a tray or a container, just add a tablespoon full of the nuts and molten chocolate to the tray such that the molten chocolate forms a round cookie shape along with the nuts popping out. Space out each chocolate cookies such that they do not touch or overlap each other. You can make of whatever size you wish to.
5. Once all the cookie shapes are ready, add the tray or container to the refrigerator. The chocolate hardens and forms a nice cookie shaped fruit and nut chocolate.
6. Wrap the chocolates in a nice fancy chocolate paper and serve. Preferably it is better to keep the chocolate in the refrigerator due to variations in the climate, but it stays without melting even at room temperature.
