Tahini Sauce

Ingredients

3/4 Cup Tahini Paste
10 Large Pods of Garlic
1 Large Lime
10 - 12 Peppercorns
1 Tsp Cumin or Jeera Seeds
Salt to taste
2 Tbsps Curd or Yougurt
1 - 2 Tbsps Olive Oil

Servings / Time

A Small Glass Jar / 20 Minutes

Tahini Sauce - Ingredients

Preparation

1. Powder the peppercorns and the cumin seeds. Squeeze out the juice from the lime and mince the garlic.

2. Now to a blender add the tahini paste, the powdered peppercorn, and cumin seeds along with the minced garlic and lime juice.

Tahini Sauce - In a Glass Jar
Add salt and 2 tbsps or more of curd or yogurt depending upon your requirement along with olive oil.

3. Now blend the above ingredients to form a nice smooth paste. This paste has a nutty and a sour taste. Ideal to be used in salads.

4. Add the paste to a glass jar and refrigerate. Use when required.

Enjoy the Tahini Sauce on Salads. Its a different kind of sauce with a nutty and tangy taste to its flavor.
