Tahini Paste
Ingredients
1 Cup Sesame Seeds
6 or more Tbsps Olive Oil
Salt to Taste
6 or more Tbsps Olive Oil

Servings / Time
3/4 Cup or a Small Bowl of Tahini Paste / 10 minutes
Preparation
1. Take a cup of sesame seeds. Now heat a dry pan, add the sesame seeds. Roast the seeds until golden brown, Be careful not to burn the seeds.
2. Once roasted, allow cooling for a few minutes. Then add the sesame seeds to a blender.
3. Now add 6 tbsps of olive oil or more depending on the consistency of the paste you desire. Add Salt and Blend the mixture to form a nice fine paste.
4. Store the paste in a nice glass jar and refrigerate it. Use the paste as and when required.
5. This paste has a nutty taste just like peanut butter. I have used this paste to make tahini sauce which I used in salads.
You can use this paste as a spread in sandwiches or chapatis or as you desire.
