Prawn Chili Fry
Ingredients
30 - 40 Small or Medium Sized Prawns(A Small Plate of Prawns)
1 Medium Sized Onion, Cut into Ringlets.
1 Green Chili, Slit and Cut into fine pieces with seeds removed.
3 Leaves of Vauchi Bhaji (Malabar Spinach) or Coriander Leaves, Chopped fine.
1/2 Tbsp Ginger Garlic Paste or Spicy, Sweet and Sour Garlic Paste
1/4 Tsp Turmeric
Salt to Taste
2 Tbsp Oil

Servings / Time
2 Persons / 45 minutes
Preparation
1. Clean the Prawns, Take off the head and the outer body covering or the outer shell.
2. Wash the prawns well, add salt and turmeric, keep aside for a few minutes.
3. Heat oil in a pan, Add onion and chili.
4. Stir-fry for a few minutes till the onions turn translucent and add spinach.
5. Now add the Ginger Garlic Paste or Spicy, Sweet and Sour Garlic Paste and mix well.
6. Add the prawns, mix the prawns with the above mixture.
7. Fry till the prawns are cooked and onions caramelized.
8. Serve hot with rice.
9. This can also be used as a filling in other prawns dishes.
