Chocolate Mousse with Honey Glazed Kiwi Topping
Ingredients
100 g of Chocolate Slab
200 ml of Fresh Cream
2 Eggs
1 Tsp Gelatin
1 Tbsp Cold Water
2 Tbsp Boiling Hot Water
2 - 3 Tbsp Honey
2 Kiwi Fruits
1 - 2 Tbsp Sugar (I did not add sugar as the chocolate bar contains sugar)
200 ml of Fresh Cream
2 Eggs
1 Tsp Gelatin
1 Tbsp Cold Water
2 Tbsp Boiling Hot Water
2 - 3 Tbsp Honey
2 Kiwi Fruits
1 - 2 Tbsp Sugar (I did not add sugar as the chocolate bar contains sugar)
Servings / Time
4 servings / 30 minutes
Preparation
1. Sprinkle gelatin to cold water and keep it aside for a minute.
2. Separate the Egg Yolk from the egg white. Beat the egg yolk and the egg white separately.
3. Melt the bar of chocolate in a microwave for around 1 - 3 minutes or else the chocolate can be melted by steaming.
4. Now add the beaten egg yolk to the melted chocolate, mix well.
5. Add boiling water to the gelatin such that it dissolves by stirring.
6. Now add the gelatin mixture to the chocolate and the egg yolk. Mix well such that the gelatin blends into the mixture.
7. Add the beaten egg white such that it folds into the above mixture mix well.
8. The cream is to be added to the above and mixed well to form a nice smooth texture.
9. Add the above mixture to a nice bowl or pour into dessert glasses. Allow freezing for at least 1 or 2 hours.
10. Peel 2 kiwis and cut into slices. Add them all around the mousse into a bowl or dessert glasses and glaze them by pouring some honey above.
