Cafreal Masala
RECIPE I
Ingredients
2 Cups Coriander Leaves (2 Bundles of Coriander Leaves), tightly packed
2 Long Green Chilies
1 Cinnamon Stick 1 and a half inch
6 Cloves
8 Peppercorns
1 Tsp Cumin Seeds or Jeera
4 Large Cloves of Garlic
1/2 inch Ginger
1 Tsp Poppy Seeds (Khus - Khus)
1/4 Tsp Turmeric Powder
1/4 Cup Vinegar
1/4 Cup Water
2 Long Green Chilies

Servings / Time
A Small Glass Jar / 20 minutes
Preparation
1. Wash the coriander leaves well, separate the leaves from the stalks.
2. Slit the chilies, remove the seeds from the chilies.
3. Now add all these ingredients to the blender and blend to form a nice thick green paste. Add the paste to a glass jar.
4. Refrigerate and use when desired.
5. Instead of vinegar, lime or tamarind can be used to give that sour kind of taste.
