Cafreal Masala Stuffed Squids
Ingredients
22 Medium Sized Squids
2 Tbsps Cafreal Masala
1 Tsp Ginger Garlic Paste
1 Medium Sized Tomato, Chopped
1 Medium Sized Onion, Chopped
Oil as per requirement
22 Toothpicks to seal the ends of the stuffed squids.
Salt as per requirement
1 Lime

1 Tsp Ginger Garlic Paste
1 Medium Sized Tomato, Chopped
1 Medium Sized Onion, Chopped

5 Persons / 1 Hour
Preparation
1. Clean the squids neatly so as to separate the tentacles from the body. Wash thoroughly well after cleaning.
2. Cut the lime into two pieces and squeeze out lime juice, Marinate the squids with salt and lime juice.
3. For the stuffing, cut the tentacles fine, chop onion into fine pieces and tomato into fine pieces.
4. Heat oil in a pan, once hot add onion pieces and 1 teaspoon of Ginger Garlic Paste, fry for a while till translucent, then add tomato pieces, cook till tomato is soft.
5. Add the squids to the above mixture of onion and tomato, stir fry till water oozes out from the squids.
6. Once the water has dried, add 2 Tablespoons of Cafreal Masala to the above mixture of squids, cook till the masala blends well into the squids.
7. Once ready turn off the flame and allow the stuffing to cool for a while. Keep aside for some time.
8. Take a Teaspoon and stuff each squid with the above stuffing. Close the ends of the squids with a toothpick such that the stuffing does not spill off on frying.
9. Once the stuffing is done, lightly add some cafreal masala to the outer part of the squids before frying. Heat a pan with oil, once the oil is hot, add the stuffed squids.
10. Cover the pan with a lid so that the inside of the squids cook well.
Fry the squids on both sides.
Fry thoroughly well such that the inside is cooked.
Take off the toothpicks and serve hot.
